DMX Arrested For Attempted Car Theft At JFK Airport

DMX was arrested Friday night (June 25) at New York's JFK Airport for attempting to still a car.
According to reports, the rapper and an associate posed as federal agents in an attempt to steal a car from a pedestrian in the parking lot of JFK Airport.
Port Authority police arrived on the scene to find DMX (real name: Earl Simmons) and Jackie Hudgins arguing with the car's owner, according to a police spokesperson.
Authorities then arrested the rapper and Hudgins and charged with attempted robbery, criminal mischief and criminal impersonation for allegedly identifying themselves as federal agents.
No weapons were found or involved in the incident and no one was injured.
Representatives for DMX or his label Def Jam Records were unavailable for comment, regarding the incident, at press time.
