Kanye West, Roc-A-Fella Records Headlines HIV/AIDS Awareness Concert Series

LIFEbeat: The Music Industry Fights AIDS and the E.A.R.S. Foundation are teaming up to with Roc-A-Fella Records to launch the LIFEbeat Hear & Voices Concert Series, headlined by Kanye West.
The concert series will become a bi-monthly event at Show Nightclub that will feature today's hottest artists with the goal to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS prevention within the urban comunity.
"We are so excited about collaborating with the E.A.R.S. Foundation on this concert series," said John Cannelli, Executive Director of LIFEbeat in a statement. "The HIV/AIDS epidemic has reached a critical point and this series is another opportunity to reach "at risk" youth."
Kicking off the concert series will be the ROC's own Kanye West, who will be joined by labelmates the Young Gunz, Rell and Allen Anthony.
Currently, Kanye West's debut College Dropout is at #2 on the Billboard charts for the 3rd week in a row moving more than 132,000 units, bringing his total to 770,000. The rapper/producer's success is fueled by the hit single "Through The Wire," which has been in heavy rotation in many radio stations and TV outlets across the country.
Not far behind is the Young Gunz with Tough Luv, who are trail Kayne debuting at #3 with 127,000 last week.
