Can you believe this is my 50th Blog entry? That's right people, 5-dash-0. Every Friday like clockwork (except for the very beginning because it was bi-weekly), I made sure you would get a brand new entry. No matter what else was going on in my life, if you visited Ballerstatus on that day, you would find some advice from me. Reason being, consistency.

I know many people wonder how I got to this point in my career. It seems like now you can't visit a website, blog or forum board and not see my name or music there. This was no easy task. It took a lot of dedication, hard work and perseverance and I still have a very long way to go. I've took many losses, had several setbacks and failures along the way and I'm sure people have many different opinions about me. Some good, some bad, but there is something NO ONE can deny. My consistency is flawless. New music, new videos, new blogs, new projects, etc. I make sure there is always fresh content coming out on a regular basis. If I tell you I'm putting out a "Bars" video every Thursday, you best believe that there will be a new video out on that day. My point is simple. Consistency is one of the biggest reasons I am successful.

Several artists on the come up really don't understand the importance of consistency (I'm going to repeat that word many times, so it can be drilled in your head) and the value of it. Consistency shows people how dedicated you are. Consistency helps to build your campaign and makes you look very reliable in the eyes of others. Consistency is a practice that needs to be implemented in EVERYTHING you do.

Artistically you have to consistently put out music and become better at your craft. From a business standpoint you need to sell a consistent amount of CDs in order to profit. When you are promoting yourself you have to be consistent with the public in order to make an impact. Suffice it to say, CONSISTENCY (I think you get the picture now) is a very important aspect that must be synonymous with your movement. Without it you are just unreliable, undependable, and unimpressive artist who will probably never get past the starting point simply because the people won't know what to expect from you.

This blog should be proof positive as to why consistency is important. Think about it. If I put these blogs out sporadically, would you really be reading this right now? Be consistent.
