Hey everybody, sorry I've been late with the blog. The grind just been real heavy lately. I've been running around doing promotion for Scarlito's Way, and also gearing up to promote my next single "Money In The Bag." I know my fans haven't seen me in a while, so I also been doin' a weekly blog on my myspace, so my fans can stay in touch.
Everybody asks if I'm still battling. Honestly I feel I've gone to the highest level that genre can take me. I've conquered that realm already. Now for me it's about breakin' a record and taking over the radio. It's a lotta rappers holdin' down spots they shoulda been relinquished, but us as the "new" haven't stepped up. If I'm not gonna do it right, I won't do it all.
This is why Sam Scarfo's company did a deal with Def Jam. No production companies, just me. It's also the reason why Scarfo isn't under anyone's wing -- no DJs, rappers, anything... I'm NOBODY's son-son. Never been, never will. If it comes down to who hustles harder and got the best product on the block, '08 is mine.
