Hate It Or Love It: Scott Storch's Money Ain't As Long As We Think?

Is Scott Storch going broke? I hope not because he's one of the funniest rich guys. At least he entertained me with the diss video to Timbaland earlier this year, "You Ain't Built Like That."

According to a recent gossip blurb from the NY Post's Page Six, it may be true. Well, it's that or he is behind on credit card payments.

The paper reported that the super producer was in a Miami club recently, and when he came time to pay the bill, it was no big deal and he tossed his credit card over to cover it. But, the card came back declined, and he tried another, which also was declined. According to the blurb, all Storch's credit cards were declined and he had to fork over cash instead.

How could this be right? I mean, the guy has been producing hit singles for years now. Rolling Stone estimated that he was worth a whopping $70 million in 2006, so what's the problem?

Well, it looks like the blinged out Jew carries his self far from the stereotypes his heritage brings. Maybe that's the problem, he's trying to prove that he isn't tight with his money, which is obviously true.

The Storch man reportedly owns over a dozen cars -- which include a 1974 Jaguar, a white Lambo, a Maybach, a Rolls-Royce, a Mercedes McClaren SLR, and a 1960 Bentley. Let's not forget the $1.7 million Buggatti, which he bragged about in the infamous "You Ain't Built Like That" video... "Where's your Bugatti at? You ain't built like thhhhaaaattt."

But the cars are only a few of the things he possesses; he also owns a 20,000 square foot mansion in Miami, two yachts and countless bling. Not to mention, he reportedly bought his girlfriends -- which include Lil Kim, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton -- lavish gifts such as Bentleys when they were rumored to have dated.

That's some very expensive taste there. So, maybe his spending is out of control because in August of 2007, Forbes had his $70 million net worth a quite bit lower, to $17 million.

Who knows if he is actually going broke or if he just forgot to pay his credit card bills. Either way, Scotty definitely needs to be smarter with his money or maybe Timbaland will be screaming "You ain't built like that" to Scotty.
