I know a lotta y'all have been wondering where I've been. I'm pretty sure by now you heard about the reports of incompetence and shady business practices from Mobb Deep themselves regarding our former management. They fired him recently, I fired him a long time ago, and it's apparent that karma is finally coming back on him. He shouldn't be too bad off though -- UPS is ALWAYS hiring. I've kinda been sittin' back studying the game. Under any other circumstance and in any other hustle, I'd NEVER sit back, but the competition is SO weak right now (especially up here in the Northeast).
I feel like I didn't miss a beat, so I decided to put out a free mixtape online called Free Lunch (click here to download it). I've been working on a mixtape DVD called Scarlito's Way also. I wanna put it out in mid-November. What I'm giving you is straight real street music -- no beef, no stunts, no circus tricks -- just what the streets have been missing.
I always been a international type of nigga before this rap thing, so I just been traveling rubbing elbows with the gangstas. I'm trying to bring Jersey up for real. I heard my name in a diss record recently, where Joe Budden told Ransom to "worry about Sam Scarfo." I can't lie -- it feels good to know my name is still floating in peoples' heads even though I haven't put anything out in months. But I want Jersey to stick together -- not beef with each other.
It's cool, but it's corny when you look at the big picture. Just think about it. I got too many haters in these streets to be worried about a rapper. Niggas need to stand for something if they wanna start getting respect. That's how it's been since I can remember. Prodigy and Nas waited till they both were successful to start dissing each other... that made sense... Let's make some money first... I ain't with that ole backwards ass country shit.. That's why sometime I feel I'm too real for this shit.
Anyway the takeover starts from NOW. Remember I said it.
