BILLION DOLLAR FIRE! The Billion Dollar Remix a.k.a. the Forbes 1,2,3 Remix of 50's "I Get Money" is here!

Listen to the song and then read my lyrical breakdown:

It's only right that 50 Cent gets things poppin' on this remix to his own joint. Here's some of the better quoteables from his verse: "Been around the block, pal / Imagine what I got now / The Bentley, the Ferrari / Maybe the Bugatti / Range and Maserati / I got them all... Got damn / My money, my-my-my money... loong / I black out / break a bat on your ass like Barry Bonds."

and later...

"My watch is right / My stocks is right / But don't be shocked tonight / If you shot tonight / Still gutter like a motherfucker / Chipped up / Don't be surprised when I grip up / You slip up / You could get it."

Bottom line on 'Fif's verse: 50 tells fans why he's rich, bitch! (like we don't already know) and then says he still hood (despite the Connecticut residency). I, for one, would never be surprised if he grips up... and blames it on Yayo.

Moving on, here's Diddy.

Before he even begins spitting, the hip-hop mogul says, "A lot of money on this record, man / I like being around money, man / Oh, it's three the hard way!"

Then he gets into his (always suspect, but fun) rhymes:

"Bo knows, but Diddy did it / Cars, jewelry and big homes, yeah, Diddy did it."

And later...

"I had J. Lopez out in San Tropez / While you was riding around in Miami on mopeds."

Bottom Line on Puff's verse: Diddy's been all about the money from the jump, so he had to be on this remix. But maan is his verse weak. It's ok, though. It's Diddy, not Nas I'm reviewing here. Anyway, some quick notes on Diddy's verse. Dude still loves Jennifer Lopez. Like, really, really loves her. It's 2007, they split up, what seems like forever-ago and he's still talking about her. It can't be fun being Kim Porter. The other thing is and don't laugh: What happened to the loyalty, Diddy? Wasn't Three The Hard Way supposed to be Puff, Black Rob and G-Dep? Or was it Puff, Black Rob and Mark Curry!? HAHAHA! Ok, laugh... all the way to the bank!

And finally, Hov aka the Mariano of the Marriott:

"I'm a hustler, baaby / Can't escape my past / When I flipped Rocawear I told them give me my cash / Yeeea, checks might bounce / Alphabet boys might check my account / Still hustling, baaby / Hurry up and kill me / I'm already the G.O.A.T. / Next stop is the Billy."

And later:

"I'm killin the block / Ol' School Whips / So, I'm killin' the RWOOF like Michael Vick / Yeea, just call me Forbes.com / In case y'all forgot New York is still mine / I GET IT!"

And parting words for good measure:

"I wouldn't want to be outside the bubble on this one."

Wow. Hov did his thing on this. Still lazy, but his lazy lyrics are damn-near better than anyone else's. The line about checks bouncing. Wonder what Dame has to say about that? Damn, that's gotta hurt. The G.O.A.T. line. Does LL have a response... I wonder? Hov would destroy LL, so let's move right along. The Michael Vick line is clever as hell. But the line I love is, "New York is still mine." Yeea, who else is it? Of course New York is still Jay-Z's.

But the thing about this record is it didn't matter what these dudes spit on it. The fact that you have three New York hip-hop moguls on a record that's talking about them having money out the ass is serious. Forbes 1,2,3... this is momentous. This is legendary. This represents power. This represents New York. This represents New York power and money. This is international money. This is history. And this fever is just beginning... a video is being shot for the remix on Thursday in New York City. How you like that? They get money. Money they got. Note to all other MCs: You're outside the bubble on this one. That's gotta suck. Not for a couple guys named Sean (Shawn) and CUUUUURTIS!

So..Fuck O'Reilly! THEY GET IT!
