What up y'all? This is gonna be a crazy week. The video for "Give It Up" feat Pharrell is going to come out this week, so we're gonna be endin' this week with a bang. I can't put the video up here until a few days though, but sit tight and we'll slap it up here for y'all to watch. The video is crazy though and it's different from the videos that are out there right now. My man, Hype Williams, shot the video and it's crazy. We wanted to make the video like artwork, so we went back and looked at some art to get some ideas.

What we ended up puttin' together is real colorful and bright. We got a lot of subliminal stuff goin' on in the video and a lot of people that have seen the video be tellin' me that it makes them hungry and when you watch it, you'll see all the pies, ice cream, and candy bars we got in the video and know what I'm talkin' about. You're gonna wanna go out and get yourself something to eat and you're gonna wanna pick up the album.

Man, y'all be wildin' on the comments here, which is a good thing. Erick, I'm glad you like the photos from the video. Hopefully you like the entire video and will help get the video support on some of the countdowns like "106 & Park."

As for all of you who supported "Pimp Like Me," I'm glad y'all like it and are really feelin' the track. I think "Pimp Like Me" is one of those tracks that really gets to show how I can put a little different twist on hip-hop and still come up with somethin' that's bangin'. My homie Tight Mike definitely really held it down with the production on this one and I know I've been getting' positive feedback all around for this track, so make sure that this record is gettin' folks too juked and send me your videos. I'm thinkin' of even havin' a juke off or somethin' one day and puttin' together a video with some of Chicago's best jukers. Some people be sayin' that this track would be perfect in the strip club and that they been hearin' it at some and so if you're a strip club DJ get behind this one cuz that's what the people be sayin' about the track. But I'm really happy that people got to hear one of the harder tracks off the album cuz that's what most of the album is like. You got a few records like "Give It Up" that are me tryin' some different things, but otherwise it's tracks that you're gonna wanna play in the car while you're drivin' through your hood.

Also gotta throw it up for Common who's coming out next week with Finding Forever, so be sure to pick up his album and support Chicago hip-hop.

Yak OG, believe me when I say that this new album is a monster. If you like "Pimp Like Me" and what I did on that track, you're gonna like at least 5 or 6 cuts on the album cuz they just as hard. I'm real excited to put this album out cuz there's so much in it that I like because I really feel like I took it back to that older vibe I had. I just been doin' things the way I see them myself for this album, so it's not like the last record where there were some other influences. I'm comin' with a lot of harder tracks for the streets with this album, but I still got one or two tracks for the ladies so I'm trying to make sure everyone got somethin' from them on this one. Adrenaline Rush 2007 in stores September 18th! It's gonna be big, y'all.

The homie Dizzle commented that I'm comin' back with that Kamikaze again and you bet that I'm comin' with that kinda approach. The feel that Adrenaline Rush and Kamikaze had as albums was different from the feel that The Day After had and that's what I'm tryin' to do, change it back to that old style more. Hopefully y'all go pick up the record when it comes out instead of downloadin' it and support good music and take Adrenaline Rush 2007 to the same level y'all took Kamikaze. I definitely am gonna be takin' y'all to the same level with the music on this album.

Whut? This record is bringin' back to the streets. If you think "Pimp Like Me" takes it back to the streets then you're definitely gonna feel like you in the hood even if you aren't when you hear some of the other records like "Creep" feat T-Pain and "Trouble" on the album. And then when you hear "Ain't No Hoe" feat Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, it's straight Midwest gangsta music. You're gonna hear that classic Twista sound on that record and you gonna hear that classic Bone Thugs-N-Harmony on that track cuz it got that mellower feel but we all comin' with our special little delivery and just goin' crazy.

Cali-D, you know my formula for albums and so you know I can't change it up on this one, I'm openin' this album with that hard Twista cut, but this time I keep those hard Twista cuts comin' through the album so you gonna have to get ready for this. I think you gonna like what you hear Cali, I think this is exactly what you gonna wanna hear.

As for Monica and Lena Ray, I got love for y'all too.

Royal D. from Dallas if you still bangin' that Adrenaline Rush you're gonna love the new album. It's gonna take you the same direction that Adrenaline Rush did, but it's gonna take you even further than that.

Keep it comin' y'all.
