Hate It Or Love It: The Game & 50 Cent Kiss and Make Up?

Have you heard the latest rumor about The Game?

If you haven't, according to MediaTakeOut.com, the Compton native has agreed to record a track with 50 Cent for his forthcoming album, Curtis... What!!??

Can you believe this shit? The Game and 50 Cent working together again. That's not it though; the gossip site also reports that The Game is also considering mending the relationship with 50 and even joining G-Unit once again...

"Both [50 Cent] and [Game] are businessmen. It would be great for both of them if Game were to return to The G-Unit ... No deal is signed yet, but they're talking about it -- and both sides are interested in making it work," an insider told MediaTakeout.

Crazy right? I'm not against this whole merger, but after all the bickering back-n-forth between the two camps, the empty threats and general distaste at the mention of each other, would it really work?

Let's say for a minute that Game actually came back and was screaming G-Unit once again... would his legions of fans accept it? I mean, after all, this was the guy who went on an all-out rampage, throwing countless freestyles, tracks and full mixtapes at the Unit... in addition to a clothing line (G-Unot) and tattoos dedicated to the entire beef.

After all that, how much of a hypocrite (or Transformer, as he has called the Unit in the past) would Game be if he just gave in, sold his soul and went back to his arch rivals? Sure, it may be profitable, but at the end of the day, how much does it cost for a man's dignity?

People already question The Game's decisions, because of his constant contradictory behavior -- one day it's "Fuck G-Unit" and the next it's "Them dudes is cool, let's get money." So if he joined G-Unit, would he the next day say, "Fuck them, I'll never be G-Unit."

It's the two party's decisions, but would fans really accept it? That's the question that sticks out in my mind. I know I'd definitely check the music, but as far as anything the two of them would say from that point on, I'd take it with a grain of salt.

The relationship between Fiddy and Game is a WWE storyline at its worst.
