Got an exclusive off the album for y'all. This is "Pimp Like Me" and it was produced by my boy Tight Mike and this is that juke track I told y'all about. I hope y'all bang this cut and get your juke on to this. For all my jukers and footworkers out there, send me a short video of yourself goin' crazy to this track and I'll post a video or two in each blog for a few weeks. Send the videos to me at twista@ballerstatus.net.

Man, things are crazy around here with gettin' everything ready for the album release. I've been thinkin' about all these albums and the dates getting changed, includin' mine, and timing is becomin' more and more important in the music business. Back in the day, a good album would come out and could just sell what I was supposed to sell, but today things are changin'. You gotta make sure that your record is gonna get the right amount of push and attention when it comes out. This means you gotta make sure that the time you come out isn't a time where a lot of people are droppin' at the same time because the people goin' into the store to buy an album are goin' to buy the same number of albums either way and so if they got more choices one of those artists is gonna lose some sales.

Timin' on singles and videos is real important now too. You wanna make sure that the album is droppin' at the time that your record is at it's peak at radio and the video is at it's peak on tv. Besides the videos, you put on tv you gotta make sure the videos you put online are doin' well too. Youtube is getting' bigger and bigger these days and people are goin' to video sites to watch these videos people post like crazy, so you gotta make sure you put somethin' up there for everyone too and that you time it right. If you look at 50 Cent right now, he's dealin' with the same type of thing and he's really tryin' to pick up on the whole Youtube aspect with puttin' his videos up there. I got my own little jumpoff with a few videos at YouTube.com/TwistaTV. You can see some videos about the video shoot and a few of my performances there and we're gonna be addin' more.

Be sure to send me questions and comments at twista@ballerstatus.net or just post ‘em in the comments.

Rex Manning, I read your comment about not liking The Day After as much as Kamikaze and I can understand that because the album had a different feel and sound to it. When we put together Day After, the A&R we were workin' with wanted to go with more radio friendly tracks and that's why there is that difference between the two albums. I think different people will like a different album out of the two because of how different the two albums really are. I think the ladies would prefer Day After because we got some nice records on there for them while I think Kamikaze is more for the streets. Both of them got some hot records though and if you listen to both of them you definitely hear that Twista isn't just the fast, hardcore rapper, but that I can switch into other styles too. When you pick up the new album you'll hear more of the Adrenaline Rush/Kamikaze sound, but there are one or two records that have the Day After sound.

Blue Prada said that I should "do it for the ladies!" and you know Twista always gonna hold it down for the ladies too. We got a record with R. Kelly called "Love Rehab," which I think the ladies will enjoy and we have a record with Jazze Pha called "Rapper's Delight," which should be another banger for the ladies.

The Choctaw Nation wanted to know if Tech N9ne will be on the album and he won't be on the album this time around, but that doesn't mean we won't be working together again ever. Tech is another of the rappers that can rap in a similar style as me, so you never know when we may team up again. On Adrenaline Rush 2007, you won't find Tech, but you will find Pharrell, Lil Wayne, R. Kelly, Jazze Pha, T-Pain, Kanye West, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.

Yack OG said that the collabo with T-Pain is a good one and trust me, it'll only be better when you hear it. I told you last week that the track with Pain, "Creep", is one of the hottest tracks on the album and it really goes back to the whole Adrenaline Rush vibe.

There was a comment that Bone Thugs and I should put out an album together, which we are definitely trying to work on. When we get everything set and done for that I'll let y'all know more.

For everyone who wanted to know about the video, it isn't out yet but should be shortly, so be on the lookout. Here are some more pictures from the video shoot.
