The Fire: I Said It, T.I. Is Better Than LudacrisFriday - May 4, 2007By: WWW Dot
Listennn... I warned y'all that I wasn't going to bite my tongue, so yea I said it -- T.I. counts more than Ludacris right now. Making the case even more for T.I. is the fact that he has recently bit into and won over Luda's mainstream audience with "Why You Wanna" and his feature on Timberlake's "My Love." Tip is even about to co-star in a flick with Denzel. Come on, come on... the evidence is mounting people. THE EVIDENCE IS MOUNTING. T.I. vs. T.I.P. is already buzzing and that's just off the guestlist alone. The album is supposed to feature heavyweights like Jay-Z, Eminem and Wyclef. That's pretty mean. The concept is gangster with T.I. showing fans the finer side of life ala "My Love" and "Why You Wanna," while Tip takes listeners to Bankhead ala "Top Back" and "ASAP." I, for one, can't wait till the album drops. T.I. knows how to make songs and put together an album. I think his last couple of albums -- Urban Legend and King -- were significantly better than Luda's previous two joints, but hey is that just me? I made it clear that I think Tip is the man in his city and mainstream. Now, y'all let me know what you think. Some parting shots... Kells (R. Kelly) and Usher got a dope song out called "Same Girl," where they find out they have been smashing the same chick. Kinda classic right here. The homeboy Grafh spit a freestyle over "Money, Power, Respect." Pretty mean and vicious, G-R! GO BACK TO SITE |
