In case you're wondering what the hell is a Palms Out or what exactly does a Palms Out Sound sound like, without getting too Kanye West on ya'll, Palms Out is pretty much one of the dopest music blogs on the net (and a NYC store) that I happen to co-curate. So why are we here? Well Jay (Ballerstatus Editor) and I happen to go way back like Guess Farmers and Cross Colour jeansuits. And besides, like Dave Chappelle being invited by Russell "God Bless & Goodnight" Simmons to guest perform on Def Poetry, I couldn't say no -- He's too powerful! Jay puts in a few calls and overnight, instead of rappers, I'll be interviewing the neighborhood pervert on his view of world politics. Sad sad indeed. Expect insightful and intelligent articles on things like "Why does Scheme wear sunglasses at night?", nonsense like the need for reform in our public school systems, and random songs we either like, laugh at, or both. Now let's get proceeding with the proceedin's this e'nin.
4. My homeskillet Cambridge and I were talking about how odd it is that people seem to celebrate death more than life, i.e. oh today is the 8th year since MC Rippity Rhyme Rippity Rip Hot Fire I Spit passed. You would think people would celebrate the birthday of these folks instead of death anniversary's. In any case, I got to thinking last week on how more than anything else, it was Biggie's obscure ass references that made me a fan. While I could go on forever, I just chose three for now. Peep game.

Man this here is something you can really only truly appreciate if you've been through the oft-times materialistic haven that is the NYC Public School System. I still remember when this dope chick in my class, googly eyed and all, asked me "those jeans Karl Kani?" to which I stupidly said "Nah, Apparatus (a JC Penny brand)"
All traces of "I wanna bone this dude" sprinted from her eyes as she simply replied..."Oh."
3. I can't even claim ownership of the following observation about R. Kelly's video for "I'm A Flirt" ft. T.I. & T-Pain, so I'll just quote it directly: "Robert -- I didn't see a single woman in this video that was in danger of failing the paper bag test. What's that shit about? 2. How many of these so called Obama supporters are actually familiar with homeboy's politics? Wouldn't it be hilarious if people ended up voting a makeshift Clayton Bigsby into office? (Or not)
1. Call me old school, but when exactly did boots, with bubbles, become choice hood winterwear? Do cats need to feel like they're running on air as they're eluding the po-po and holding down the blizzock?? I'm good on that. Give me my construction Tims and Vasque Skywalkers and IIIIII'm skr88888.

P.S.: RIP Sean Bell. Now let's see if the grand jury in NY actually does the right thing, and if New York heads are as ballsy the folk in LA and raise hell in the streets if they don't (My money's on no indictment or conviction, and no real reaction. For once, I hope I'm wrong.)
