With the five year anniversary of the death of Jam Master Jay of Run DMC fame passing on Tuesday (October 30), Adidas did a little something to commemorate the legendary musician.
According to Complex, the sneaker company created four pairs of sneakers that pay homage to Jay in conjunction with the November 29th J.A.M. Awards, a special benefit concert that focuses on rap's social responsibility.
The Jam Master Jay sneakers will come in an original Ultrastar, and three Brougham models, each baring Jay's face on the tongue of the shoe.
The special edition sneakers will sell exclusively through Footaction in late November for $70-$80.
