Kim Kardashian Gets The Go Ahead For E! Reality Show

Hollywood socialite Kim Kardashian -- who became known for accompanying Paris Hilton at several A-list parties as well as a leaked sex tape featuring her and Ray J -- is the next in line to get her own reality show on E!.

While Paris and Nicole Richie's "Simple Life" reality series has run its course, Kardashian has stepped in to fill the void.

According to E! Online, the 26-year-old daughter of the late OJ Simpson lawyer Robert Kardashian will be followed by cameras as viewers watch her increasingly hectic life as a boutique owner by day, and a tabloid fixture by night.

The still untitled series is being executive produced by Ryan Seacrest, and will feature her sisters Khloe, 23, and Kourtney, 28, who first exercised her reality show chops on E!'s "Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive" last year; half-sisters Kendall, 11, and Kylie, 9; momager Kris; and Olympic gold medalist stepdad -- and sole non K-initialed family member -- Bruce Jenner.

"At the heart of the series -- despite the catfights and endless sarcasm -- is a family that truly loves and supports one another," Seacrest told E!. "The familiar dynamics of this family make them one Hollywood bunch that is sure to entertain."

There is still no word as to when the show will premiere.
