The Results Are In: Eddie Murphy Is Scary's Baby's Daddy

Actor Eddie Murphy is the baby's daddy.

Yep, a paternity test confirmed that Murphy is indeed the father of Melanie "Scary Spice" Brown's 2-month-old daughter, People reported yesterday.

According to reports, 32-year-old Brown gave birth to Angel Iris Murphy Brown on April 3 and listed Murphy as the father on the birth certificate.

On Thursday (June 21), Brown's reps told People the singer received the results of the test Murphy took on June 11.

"The baby is undoubtedly, 110 percent his," a source close to Brown is quoted as saying.

Back in December 2006, Murphy denied the child was his, saying, "I don't know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test."

In May, Brown said that Murphy had not contacted her since Angel was born. A representative for Murphy told gossip site, TMZ.com on Friday (June 22), "We don't comment on our clients' personal lives."

The 2-month-old child is Murphy's sixth. He already has five children from his previous marriage to Nicole Mitchell Murphy. This will be Brown's second; she has an 8-year-old daughter from her marriage to dancer Jimmy Gulzar.

The former Spice Girl and Murphy reportedly dated last summer.
