Drake Blasts Coachella Country Club, Accusing It of “Racial Profiling”
Over the weekend, Drake took to social media to publicly criticize a Cochella Valley country club over what he calls "racial profiling."
On Instagram, in a since-deleted post that featured the club's logo, the rapper blasted The Madison Club in La Quinta, California, calling it the "most offensive place I ever stayed" and accusing its staff of racial profiling.
"The most offensive place I have ever stayed at in my life," Drake wrote. "With staff who pick and choose who they are going to accommodate based on racial profiling."
Before it was deleted, the Instagram post had over 200,000 times likes.
Drake's criticism also influenced the action of his fans, who took to Yelp and posted a number of unfavorable reviews. DAMN!
