Ferrari Unveils the 812 Superfast: Its Fastest & Most Powerful Car Yet
Ferrari just upped its game, unveiling its fastest and most powerful vehicle yet: the 812 Superfast.
Ditching the turbos of recent Ferraris, the new supercar is powered by a naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 that boasts a high-pressure fuel system and variable-geometry intakes, alongside a modded version of its own seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. This gives the 812 Superfast 789 horsepower and 530 pound-feet of torque, allowing it to zoom from from 0 to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of 211 mph.
Additionally, the car boasts electric steering and a second version of Ferrari's Virtual Short Wheelbase rear-wheel steering. And finally, it comes in a special Rosso Settanta color scheme, celebrating Ferrari’s 70-year anniversary.
The Ferrari 812 Superfast will make its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
