Alfa Romeo Unveils New 2018 Stelvio SUV
Alfa Romeo continues its return to the North American market with the introduction of a new mid-size SUV.
The Italian car brand unveiled the all-new 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio at AutoMobility LA before the LA Auto Show this week, which boasts its state-of-the-art technology, race-inspired performance and Italian style.
Leading the way is the top-line Stelvio Quadrifoglio, which is powered by the brand's most powerful production engine ever. Under the hood is an all-aluminum V-6 engine, providing a best-in-class 505 horsepower, allowing it to race from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds, with a top speed of 177 mph.
Stelvio and Stelvio Ti models feature an all-new, all-aluminum, 2.0-liter, direct-injection turbo engine that delivers a class-leading, standard 280 horsepower and 306 lb.-ft. of torque, allowing it to achieve a top speed of 144 mph.
Additionally, the SUV features the brand's Q4 all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, as well as safety and security features, such as Full-speed Forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Departure Warning.
There's also a number of options for owners to customize the SUV, with with up to 13 exterior colors; seven wheel choices, ranging from 18 inches to 21 inches; and an almost endless selection of interior color and trim choices.
