Snapchat Rolls Out Spectacles Via Vending Machines
After first unveiling its smart glasses in September, called Spectacles, Snapchat finally rolls out the first pairs.
The glasses allow users to create 10 second, circular video clips through a 115-degree lens, and then, upload them to Snapchat via your smartphone, which is connected via Bluetooth.
However, for the roll out, Snapchat is selling the Spectacles via yellow vending machines dubbed Snapbots. The company says Snapbots "never seem to stay in one location for too long," but their locations can easily be tracked at the Spectacles website's “Find a Bot” section. Pairs of Spectacles will cost you $129 USD.
