Día de Muertos-Inspired Gallery With Kobe Bryant

We were invited to the MAMA Gallery in Los Angeles recently for a Day of the Dead (Día de Muertos)-inspired gallery with Kobe Bryant, accompanying the unveiling of the new Nike Kobe AD.

Flowers and candles filled the gallery exhibit, paying homage to the different jerseys Kobe had worn throughout his career, alongside images of the NBA legend's most memorable moments, while artists Mister Cartoon and Patrick Martinez delivers Kobe-inspired artwork throughout.

"Even though I am not on the court every day, there are people around the world who are helping to keep the ‘Mamba Mentality’ alive,” says Bryant. “I have seen it in basketball, football and with everyday individuals who are working to be better and are committed to being great.”

In addition to the gallery, Kobe has unveiled his latest signature shoe with Nike, dubbed the Kobe AD, which you can learn more about here.
