Chiefs Lose Alex Smith To Concussion
The Kansas City Chiefs lost quarterback Alex Smith to a concussion Sunday (Oct. 30), in the team's 30-14 victory over the Colts.
Smith left the game in the first quarter to be checked for a possible concussion, though he did return later in the half after being cleared.
In the third quarter, however, the QB's head was pushed into the turf by defensive back Clayton Geathers... and he was pulled from the game and replaced by Nick Foles, who was 16-of-22 for 223 yards and two touchdowns.
Smith's current status is unknown.
Running back Spencer Ware also suffered a concussion. He played in the first half, but didn't return to the game after that.
