Meek Mill Admits Says Drake’s Diss Was “Hot”, But Not Lethal

Meek Mill

Fresh off the release of his long-awaited DC4 project, Meek Mill finally speaks out about his much-discussed Drake beef.

In a recent episode of the "Tax Season" podcast, the rapper admits that Drake's "Back to Back" diss was "hot", but doesn't feel it was a nail in the coffin.

"I ain’t think it was no sh*t that people was gonna be like, ‘You got killed.' I thought it was hot..." Meek says. "Like when we shoot at n*ggas, you gotta shoot a n*gga through the heart. When you wake up in the mirror, you looking in the mirror, you hearing what the n*gga told you, some sh*t about yourself that you can't even deal with. That’s how we battle where we come from."

Meek goes on to question whether or not Drake's diss really had an impact, referencing Jay Z iconic battle with Nas.

"When Nas and Jay Z battled and n*ggas was hittin’ at each other. They trying to hit you in your head. What was the shot that hit me?" he asks.

The full Meek Mill episode of "Tax Season" drops Monday (Oct. 31).
