Jay Z Reportedly “Can’t Stand” Kanye West
Since Kanye West called out Jay Z over the TIDAL-Apple beef last week, we're all wondering how Hov feels about it. Now, we have an answer... maybe.
Gossip paper, Page Six, cites a source who is privy to Jay's relationship with Kanye, and apparently, he "can't stand him".
"Jay can’t stand him. He looks at him as this crazy, eccentric motherf*ck*er he can tolerate in small doses. Kanye is a nut job. Everyone knows that," the source tells the paper.
The anonymous source goes on to say that Jay and Kanye's friendship -- which resulted in their 2011 joint effort, Watch The Throne and its accompanying tour --was strictly business.
"Jay Z 'tolerated' West because there was so much money to be made," Page Six reports. The source said: "Jay was like, 'I’m gonna knock this out. We’re going to do a tour to bring in millions of dollars. I can tolerate that.' "
Last Wednesday (Oct. 19), West revealed his frustrations with Jay during the Seattle stop of his "Saint Pablo Tour". He told fans that Drake's song "Pop Style" was left off VIEWS, because of the streaming battle between TIDAL and Apple. "I wasn’t on the song because of Hov," Kanye told fans. "'Cause of some TIDAL-Apple bullsh*t. Th*s shit be gettin’ me tight every time I perform this motherf*cker."
"I can’t take this sh*t, bro. Our kids ain’t never even played together," he added, referring to Jay.
