Acer Introduces World’s Thinnest Notebook: the Swift 7
Following the HP Spectre's claim as the thinnest notebook, Acer follows with yet a thinner one: the new Swift 7.
The new laptop is just 0.39 inches thin and weighs 2.48 pounds, giving the user unprecedented portability. It also boasts an aluminum unibody with rounded corners; a gold inner surface that contrasts with a matte black exterior; and an extra wide Precision Touchpad with chamfered diamond-cut effects for luxury feel.
The Swift 7 features a 13.3-inch, full HD display with IPS technology, displaying your data, photos and movies in crystal clarity. The display is finished with a durable Corning Gorilla Glass, protecting it from drops and scratches. And, it also gets an HD webcam with HDR (High Dynamic Range).
Under the hood is a 7th Generation Intel Core i5-7Y54 Processor (1.2GHz/ up to 3.2GHz), as well as a 256GB SSD and 8GB RAM, allowing for fast boot up and ample speed.
The Acer Swift 7 is available now at retailers like Amazon for $1,100 USD.
