Nas Honored in Queens NYC With Massive Mural

Nas Mural Queens

Nas has been honored in his hometown borough of Queens, via a massive mural that popped up recently.

Located on the corner of 21st Street and 40th Avenue, adjacent to the Queensbridge Houses where the rapper was raised, is a painting by artists Eli Eos, Lawrence "Myse" Hosannah Hannah, Jorit Agoch and FCee.

The mural showcases a portrait of Nas, which is accompanied by a background of Queens landscape and the word "Queensmatic" -- a nod to the city and his classic debut, Illmatic.

Check out shots of the mural below:

#Queensbridge they just gave a long time friend from the hood a mural! He earned every last bit of that! @nas
