Kanye West Reschedules Tour Dates, Following Kim’s Robbery
It's family first for Kanye West, who has rescheduled dates for his current "Saint Pablo Tour", following his wife Kim Kardashian’s robbery in Paris.
This week, he'll reschedule shows planned for Philadelphia and Detroit, originally set for Oct. 4 and Oct. 6. Instead, they will be added to the end of the tour, not scheduled for Dec. 13 and Dec. 22, respectively.
Reports indicate that concertgoers can use original tickets on the new dates.
Promoter Live Nation cites "family concerns" as the reason for the schedule change.
Kim was reportedly robbed at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room on Sunday (Oct. 2), where five masked men made off with an estimated $9-$10 million in jewelry, a cell phone, and her wallet.
Upon hearing about the incident, her husband Kanye abruptly ended his performance at The Meadows Music & Arts Festival on Sunday, saying: "I’m sorry. Family emergency. I have to stop the show."
The "Saint Pablo Tour" resumes Friday (Oct. 7) in Chicago.
