UFC 205 Press Conference Was Lit: Conor McGregor Steals Show
The UFC held a press conference for its upcoming UFC 205 event at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday (Sept. 27), which Conor McGregor and Eddie Alvarez are headlining.
Of course, the "Notorious" one stole the show with a whole lot of smack talk, insults and bragging.
At one point, a McGregor fan was handed the mic and asked Alvarez this: "You've been mentioning that Conor McGregor is not a championship fighter -- he only has two to three rounds," he began. "Yet in your professional career you've only went to the fifth round twice, and lost one of them. What the f*ck are you talking about, motherf*cker?!"
The fan even gave Alvarez the middle finger as he finished, to which McGregor seemed amused, saying, "I love this guy!"
Later during the press conference, featherweight fighter Jeremy Stephens took a shot at McGregor, saying: "This guy TKOs people. When I knock people out, they don't f*cking move." McGregor's response? He asked the crowd, "Who the f*ck is this guy?" to a barrage of cheers.
These press conferences are entertaining... and if the fight is as entertaining, we're in for one helluva night
McGregor is promising a win, though, saying that once both belts are on his shoulders, they'll need "an army to take those belts off me".
UFC 205 takes place Nov. 12 at NYC's Madison Square Garden.
