Tim Tebow Smashes Home Run in First Pro-Baseball At-Bat
Tim Tebow showed off his power in his first professional baseball at-bat... when he launched a homerun in a game against the Cardinals.
The former NFL quarterback is playing for the New York Mets in the instructional leagues in Florida. And during his first game this week, and on the first pitch, he smashed a ball that went over the fence just left of center field.
Tebow would go 1-for-6 on the day, and played left field for five innings, reports USA Today.
Reports say Tebow received a $100,000 bonus to sign with the Mets.
