PUMA Clyde Continues Return with Wraith Pack

PUMA Clyde Wraith Pack

The return of PUMA's iconic Clyde sneaker continues, with the latest drop being this Wraith Pack.

Originally introduced in 1973 as the signature shoe of Walt "Clyde" Frazier, the first basketball player to have a shoe named after him, the suede low-top silhouette became a staple through the 1970's, and later, a cult favorite among b-boys, rappers and punk-rockers.

This drop is a two-piece offering, which sees two new colorways. Each of them replaces the matte finish of suede with shiny patent leather, channeling the luxe details of Frasier's Rolls-Royce. Accenting is adding with a hit of Kurim on the heel, custom lace locks and the number "10" etched into the lace tips, which represents Walt's first New York jersey number and gives the shoe a flashy makeover.

PUMA has also launched a film (below) directed by Creations of LA, featuring Walt Frazier's insight on his namesake sneaker, while showcasing today's young creatives in the shoe in their own style.

The PUMA Clyde Wraith Pack releases in black and cordovan colorways on Sept. 29th, exclusively at Foot Locker.
