Floyd Mayweather “Moves On” From Conor McGregor Fight Talk

It appears that talk of a potential fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor is officially over.

Both fighters began hyping this fight in May, but in a recent interview with Fight Hype, Mayweather says he's moving on. "I tried to make the fight happen between me and Conor McGregor," he said. "We wasn't able to make the fight happen, so we must move on."

Both Mayweather and McGregor began hyping the fight on social media, after a report by The Sun surfaced that said talks had begun. Whether or not it was ever really considered is unclear. Was is just all for publicity? Either way, Floyd says it's not happening.

In the end, Floyd said: "I feel honored to be the biggest name in MMA and in boxing and I don't even compete no more."
