Hurley Celebrates Competitive Surfing at the 2016 Olympics

Carissa Moore

Hurley celebrates the addition of competitive surfing as an Olympic sport, with two stop animation clips featuring surfers Carissa Moore and John John Florence.

Both will represent the Stars and Stripes on the biggest stage in sports.

"I'm just excited for the opportunity to represent my country on the global stage in Japan at such a historic event," Florence says.

"We spend a lot of time traveling the globe and competing against the very best surfers from around the world on the World Surf League’s Championship Tour," adds 3X world surfing champ, Carissa Moore. "I don’t think it will change the competition format too much. It’s a great way to elevate the sport I love and share it with people from all around the world."
