Joe Budden Responds to Drake With Third Diss Track, “Afraid”

Joe Budden

Hours after Drake took a jab at Joe Budden on French Montana's "No Shopping", he gets a response.

Joe fired back with his third Drake diss track this weekend, titled "Afraid", which samples Drizzy's Thank Me Later cut "The Resistance".

On it, he references Drake's Apple deal, spitting: "It’s bigger than rap battles / A word for the digital cash castle / Don’t let a glitch in the Mac crash you / Unrelaxed, wearing political straps, shackled / Now clash paths with dad, the original bad apple."

Later on the track, he calls him out Drake for not responding to Pusha T. "Maybe y’all should be shook of me," he raps. "Should know I’d kill him at even the slightest push of me / And when his team press up shirts, I’ll help ’em push a tee / Should it read: he pressed buttons but wouldn’t push a tee / Gotta be buggin’, maybe he dunno where Pusha be."

If you haven't been following the Joe Budden-Drake saga, it began months again, when French leaked a snippet of "No Shopping" and carried a jab at Joe. On it, Drake references Budden's biggest hit to date, "Pump It Up", rapping: I"m not a one-hit wonder /They know all my stuff / You let me turn into the n*gga that you almost was."
