Meek Mill Vows to Stop Rapping About “Extreme Violence”
Following the rash of police shootings around the country, and the ongoing Black Lives Matter movement, Meek Mill is vowing to not perpetuate the violence ... through his music.
The MMG rapper announced, via Instagram, this week that he would no longer "rap about extreme violence" following the release of his upcoming Dreamchasers 4 mixtape.
"AFTER DC4 I won’t continue to rap about extreme violence!!!" Meek wrote on Instagram. "But I will remain to let my people know in these terrible environments to adapt and survive at any cost because US BLACK PEOPLE ARE STILL AT WAR WITH OURSELVES AND THE SYSTEM IN REAL LIFE!"
