RZA to Collaborate With Atari For New Album

RZA has announced an upcoming album, in collaboration with iconic video game brand, Atari, reports Billboard.

The project will feature tracks "inspired by the sounds of Atari game music," says the report.

"I’m so excited to work on these iconic games to deliver what I believe will be one of my best albums," RZA said in a statement. "I am going to invite some of my friends to join me and it will be Game On with the first beat!"

The collaboration will be the second time the Wu-Tang frontman has worked with Atari. Back in 2006, he provided voice-over for the Atari title, Marc Eckō's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure.

For the upcoming collaborative album, RZA will head the production with Atari's Chesnais and Stephen Belafonte serving as executive producers.
