Here’s the Winners for the 2016 BET Awards

The 2016 BET Awards went down in Los Angeles on Sunday (June 26), and it was Beyonce winning big with awards in five categories.

After appearing for a surprise opener with Kendrick Lamar, Bey took home trophies for Video for the Year for "Formation", Best Female Artist and the FANdemonium Award. She skipped out early though to catch a flight to Europe for the next leg of her "Formation World Tour," so her mother Tina Lawson accepted on her behalf, thanking Mathew Knowles and Jay Z during her two speeches.

Drake was a no-show for the ceremony, but took home three awards, including Best Male Hip-Hop Artist, and Best Group with Future, who accepted the honor on their behalf.

Nicki Minaj took home Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, marking her seventh consecutive win in the category.
