Former NFL Player Joseph Randle Charged For Threatening Deputy
Former Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle has been charged for threatening a deputy while jailed on other charges in Kansas, reports ESPN.
For the offense, the 24-year-old was charged on a felony count of criminal threat.
Sheriff's spokesman Lt. Lin Dehning tells ESPN that Randle is accused of threatening a deputy who was "enforcing the rules" last month at the jail in Sedgwick Count. However, further details were unknown at press time.
Randle's bond has been set at $5,000, and he is due back in court July 6.
Additionally, he's facing other felony charges for a casino disturbance and backing his car into three people, also in Kansas. He is due back in court on July 26 for those charges.
The Cowboys released Randle last year.
