Xbox One Update Includes Addition of Cortana

Ahead of this year's E3 show, Microsoft's Xbox team delivers news about the upcoming update to the Xbox One.

One of the big things is the upcoming implementation of Microsoft's version of Siri, called Cortana.

Available now via Xbox Preview program, the voice recognition feature will allow gamers to speak to their console to perform tasks like finding out what a friend who is logged on -- either on their Xbox or Windows machine -- is doing at that very moment; start a party with other friends; or find titles in your collection, among other things.

Other features also includes things like a Facebook friend finder, better Windows 10 integration and some tune-ups for existing features.

The update is expected to roll out sometime this summer. See the full run down of features in the video below:
