Drake Lands First No. 1 Single With “One Dance”

Despite all his hit albums, Drake has yet to record a No. 1 song on Billboard's Hot 100 chart... until now.

His VIEWS single, "One Dance", has debuted atop the singles chart, after sitting at No. 5 last week. It sold 159,595 units, fueled by the release of VIEWS, which has debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top 200 albums chart with more than 1 million sales.

In the past, Drake has reached No. 1 as a featured artist, including songs like "Work" and "What's My Name," both Rihanna singles.

Back in October, "Hotline Bling" peaked at No. 2 on the chart. At the time, Drake took to Instagram, saying "no accolades really matter to me other than the fact that I have never had a billboard number one".

Congrats to Drizzy.
