Tupac’s 1996 Hummer H1 Going Up For Auction
Tupac famously asked fans to "Picture Me Rollin'." Now, you can roll like 'Pac, because the late rapper's 1996 Hummer H1 is going up for auction.
Boston-based RR Auction is set to auction off the vehicle, which was previously owned by Tupac back in August 1996, a little less than a month before his untimely death.
The H1 has 10,101 miles, and comes with a license plate that reads "YAKNPAK," honoring Shakur and late rapper Yaki ‘Prince’ Kadafi; and promotional cassettes for Michael Jackson's Thriller and All Eyez on Me. It is also accompanied by two copies of the vehicle's registration information, listing Shakur as the original owner of the vehicle, as well as a copy of the affidavit for transfer, stating that "Tupac A. Shakur, the owner of the above described vehicle or vessel died on September 13, 1996 in Las Vegas, Nevada," and listing Afeni Shakur, the artist's mother, as property successor.
Bidding for the online auction begins May 12 and runs through May 19 at RRAuction.com.
