Ronda Rousey Reacts to Miesha Tate’s Win Over Holly Holm

Ronda Rousey

Miesha Tate threw a wrench in the UFC's plans for a rematch between Holly Holm and Ronda Rousey, when she submitted Holm on over the weekend at UFC 196 to become the new women's champion.

What did Rousey think of the fight on Saturday? She didn't even watch the fight.

UFC president Dana White tells Fox Sports that he texted Ronda after the fight. "Ronda wasn't watching the fight. I text Ronda and she said 'What happened?' I said 'Miesha just choked her unconscious' and she said 'Looks like I've got to get back to work,' " White explained.

White goes on to say that Rousey will face Tate for the title in her return. People are hoping for this to take place at UFC 200 in July, but Rousey has two movies on the horizon and filming has yet to be scheduled.

"She's scheduled to not come back until October or November but it doesn't mean I can't ask," White said.
