50 Cent has been trying to sell his Connecticut mansion since 2007, and after nearly a decade, it has sold!

According to TMZ, the massive estate, which is located in Farmington, CT, has sold for $8 million to an unknown buyer who plans to transform it into an assisted living facility for the elderly.

50 first listed the 21-bedroom, 25-bath mansion for $18.5 million back in 2007, but was unable to get an offer. Over the years, he's lowered the price to as low as $10 million to no avail.

In his bankruptcy filing, he said he spent $70,000 a month for the home... just in maintenance... essentially becoming a money pit.

50 Cent purchased the home in 2003 from boxer Mike Tyson's ex-wife Monica for a reported $4.1 million.
