Cam’ron, Joyner Lucas Put Karen Civil on Blast; Claims She Stole $110K
Woah! Popular media personality Karen Civil just got called out by former clients, Cam'ron and rising rapper Joyner Lucas, both of whom claim she stole a combined $110,000 from them.
Here's how things popped off.
Apparently, Civil discussed Cam'ron in a recent episode of the Tax Season podcast, telling a behind the scenes story about how he fell out with Jay Z, and claimed he and Dipset were kicked out of the Def Jam building, among other things.
This upset Cam, who took to Instagram to put her on blast. Using the hashtag #KarenCivilIsALiar, the rap vet denied her claims about him and Jay Z, while accusing her of stealing $60,000 USD from Dipset affiliate DukeDaGod... which ultimately came from his pocket.
"I haven't went in on Karen ever and been proud of what she's accomplished.. Even if she's lied and stole to get there.. But u not gonna put me in ya bullsh*t," Cam wrote in an IG caption.
"This story Karen is telling is just another one of her lies.. she stole 60k from my cousin @darealdukedagod (and we still have all the bank statements if u wanna Pursue this KAREN) and has yet to pay him back," he continued. "And it's my money as well cause it was from my company.. I don't want or need ya money.. But u should have payed duke back by now.. But since u wanna lie.. I'll pull everything out.. And put u on blast!! Stop lying and stealing.."
After Cam came forward, Massachusetts rapper Joyner Lucas took his lead, explaining his own interaction with Civil on Twitter... also claiming she stole from him to the tune of $50,000.
Lucas says he paid Civil, who in turn, would help brand him, but once the payment was sent, the rapper claims she went ghost. "She was supposed to brand me and help with a bunch of shit & after that 50k she went on vacation & made it a issue to have any convos wit me," he tweeted. "How I pay @KarenCivil 50 racks and she gonna tell me that she can't have a conversation with me because she's on Vaca?"
"Funny thing is @Mr_Camron the only reason I agreed to give her that bread to help was because of what she told me she did for you & wayne," Lucas continued. "I remember pleading with that lady to do her job because the time was ticking and she told me there was nothin she can do. Smh."
"5 months After I paid @KarenCivil I asked her on the phone 'have u ever even listened to 1 of my songs yet'. She said 'no'. #ICANTMAKETHISUP," he said in another tweet.
Civil has yet to respond to the allegations publicly.
