Kimbo Slice KO’s Dada 5000 At Bellator 149 in Hilarious Fashion

Kimbo Slice and Dada 5000 at Bellator 149

The main events of Bellator 149 on Friday night (Feb. 19) were a let down to say the least, but probably the most disappointing was Kimbo Slice's knockout of Dada 5000.

The backyard brawler rivals went three rounds in a mostly uneventful showing, where both were so gased, they could barely lift their arms.

At 1:32 in the third round, Kimbo mustarded up enough energy to throw a flurry of punches, though not much were behind them, and landing flush on Dada's face -- who could no longer lift his arms in defense. After leaning forward onto Kimbo, in an attempt to smother his punches, Dada embarrassingly fell to the canvas -- seemingly knocked out via exhaustion. Probably one of the biggest non-displays of athleticism and endurance we've ever seen.

To be fair, Kimbo Slice is 42 and not in the best shape of his life, while Dada 5000 is 38 years of age.

See the final moments below.

In the main event of the evening, aging MMA legends Royce Gracie and Ken Shamrock faced off for the third time... and it wasn't much better than the Kimbo-Dada bout.

Shells of their former selves, the two circled the cage for an extended period, before they worked from a clinch... and while they jockeyed for position, Gracie threw a knee that grazed Shamrock's cup. He immediately hunched over in pain, prompting Gracie to pounce, delivering a series of punches while kneeling over him, which ended the fight at the 2:22 mark.

Immediately after, Shamrock began screaming and pointing: "You kicked me in the nuts. You did it on purpose".

"I'm disappointed," Ken said later. "I came here to fight and I was ready to go however long it went. I don't know what else to say. I was wrong for getting upset. That's just the way it is. I really wanted this."

Shamrock and Gracie first fought in 1993 at UFC 1, where Gracie took the win, via submission. They would meet again two years later at UFC 5, but would end in a draw after 36 minutes.
