Rihanna Receives 100 Million Song Award from RIAA

Rihanna has become the first artist to earn a 100 million song awards, according to the RIAA.

Via Twitter, the organization made the announcement, tweeting: "Not 1 but 2 @Rihanna milestones: 1st artist in Gold & Platinum history to earn 100M song awards & #ANTI is #Platinum."

The tweet was accompanied by a photo of Rihanna receiving plaques for ANTI's platinum award and the 100 Million milestone.

After, the singer took to Twitter to thank her thanks her fans for their support over her decade-long career. "Navy y'all did this i$h!!!" she wrote. "FIRST & ONLY @RIAA certified with 100M song awards & #ANTI is PLATINUM!! Thank you for the love!"

ANTI was certified platinum just hours after its release on TIDAL, which the RIAA recognized as one million albums sold.

However, Billboard declined to include the TIDAL purchases because Samsung bought copies of the album to give away.
