Dodge Unveils 2016 Durango Brass Monkey, Anodized Platinum Packages

This week, Dodge introduced two new appearance packages for its 2016 Durango SUV: Brass Monkey and Anodized Platinum.

The Brass Monkey package is available on the Durango Limited model, and comes with 20-inch Burnished Bronze aluminum wheels, a Gloss Black grille and exterior badge, and a monochromatic exterior.

For the Anodized Platinum package, the Dodge Durango Citadel gets 20-inch Satin Carbon aluminum wheels and Platinum grille, exterior mirror caps, fog lamp bezels, exterior badge, door handles and lower sills, all giving the top trim Durango Citadel an even more polished look.

The Durango Limited's Brass Monkey appearance package retails $995 USD, while the Citadel's Anodized Platinum appearance package carries a $1,095 USD pricetag.

Dealers will be able to place orders on Feb. 11, with the packages arriving in dealerships in the second quarter of 2016.

    Sorry but the "new" Durango looks exactly like what it is, a minimally reconfigured Jeep. And if this is what the supposed resurrected Dakota is being built on they are going to be rejected from the get go. The last decent Dakota was the 96-04(?) range. They looked like their big brothers and the acted like them too. I'm still driving my '01 4WD and loving it.
