Did Marshawn Lynch Announce Retirement with a Tweet?
There's been talk about it for months now, but it appears Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is retiring.
First, ESPN's Adam Schefter scooped the news, making the revelation on Twitter that the NFL star is on the verge of retirement, citing "sources". He tweeted: "Teammates still attempting to change his mind, but Seahawks' RB Marshawn Lynch has told some close to him he plans to retire, per sources."
Lynch later seemed to confirm the chatter, with a tweet during the Super Bowl on Sunday, which shows a pair of cleats hanging on a wire, which was accompanied by a "peace sign" emoji.

Still, there's no official statement or announcement just yet. Lynch is just 29 years old.
