“No Drone Zone” Issued for Super Bowl 50

Super Bowl 50

All you amateur filmmakers who plan on using your drone to film in or around Super Bowl 50, think again. Authorities have declared a "no drone zone" in a 32-mile radius around Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara on Super Bowl Sunday, reports the L.A. Times.

From 2 p.m. and until 11:59 p.m. Sunday, the FAA has issued a temporary flight restriction for most aircraft -- including drones.

The FAA even announced the news on social media, tweeting: "bring your facepaint, bring your team spirit, but leave your drone at home."
