Kanye West x Kendrick Lamar — “No More Parties In LA”
Kanye West didn't drop a new song on Friday, but returned early Monday (Jan. 18) with the full-length cut for the Kendrick Lamar-assisted "No More Parties in L.A.".
Co-produced by Madlib, the song marks the pair's very first collaboration, on which we find Ye and K-Dot trading bars on the six-minute track, which samples Ghostface Killah.
On Kendrick's verse, he recounts wild nights filled with women, while Kanye reflects on his early days as a rapper: "Second class bitches wouldn't let me on first base / A backpack n*gga with luxury taste buds and a Louis Vuitton / Still got all of my pay stubs."
Later, Ye touches on family and fashion. "I be worried 'bout my daughter, I be worried 'bout Kim / But Saint is baby Ye, I ain't worried 'bout him", he raps. "Pink fur, got Nori dressing like Cam".
Kanye's Swish album is due Feb. 11.
