Holly Holm Signs Multiyear Deal With UFC
Nearly two months after upsetting Ronda Rousey to become the UFC female bantamweight champion, Holly Holm signs a multiyear contract extension with the UFC, reports ESPN.
The 34-year-old inked the new deal on Saturday in Las Vegas. However, details were not divulged as of press time.
"We have officially signed a multiyear extension with the UFC," her longtime manager, Lenny Fresquez, told ESPN.com. "That's all I can verify right now. We've signed an extension, and we're very happy with the extension."
The deal comes on the heels of her knock out victory over formerly undefeated champ Ronda Rousey at UFC 193 in Melbourne, Australia.
UFC president Dana White told the L.A. Times that a target date of July 9 is being discussed about the anticipated rematch, though Holm's next fight has still not bee officially announced.
