Russell Wilson Sets Single-Season Passing Marks
Seattle Seahawks star Russell Wilson set some new franchise records this past Sunday in two categories.
In the team's game against the Arizona Cardinals, the quarterback set a new franchise record for passing touchdowns in a single season... with 34. The previous mark was held by Dave Krieg, who threw 32 touchdowns in 1984.
Also, Wilson's 4,024 yards set the franchise record for most passing yards in a season, surpassing Matt Hasselbeck's previous mark of 3,966 in 2007.
Wilson became the first player in NFL history with at least 4,000 yards passing, 30 touchdown passes and 500 yards rushing.
